About vividsound
Professionally for the past 15 years, I built software applications and lead engineering teams. While this has brought me a lot of satisfaction, my constant passion through the years was to discover interesting music, and find the perfect headphone or IEM for it.
What I'm trying to do
In the past years the IEM world has flourished, mainly due to big advancements in technology and the competitive spirit from the asian brands.
This boom in the audio world also comes with a lot of issues, where there are dozens of new releases monthly, most are not available in local shops in the EU, and you cannot audition them before buying, and most importantly you cannot return them easily if they don't fit your audio library.
All of this has lead me to create this store where people like me can find, audition, and choose from a carefully selected list of IEM's, for all budgets and audio preferences.
Why this matters to me
Music is one of the few things left that asks for your full attention and gives something real back, a pure emotion.
The right IEM's make that easier. The wrong ones get in the way — especially when they're wrong for you specifically.
I built vividsound because I wanted that to be a short decision, not a research project.
