Who they are

FatFreq builds and sells almost everything in-house from Singapore. No big Chi-Fi distributor sits in the middle, so the price you pay goes to the work rather than to a chain of resellers. They run their own retail, do their own 3D-printed shells, and tune their own house technologies. Independence shows in the focus — they are known for one thing above all, and they keep making it better.

In our lineup, FatFreq plays one role: the bass specialist. They make balanced and neutral sets too. We stock them for the low end, because that's where the brand does work nobody else matches.

What they sound like

Deep. The Maestro Mini is the set most other basshead earphones get measured against — a sub-bass shelf you feel in your chest more than you hear. The trick isn't just quantity. FatFreq concentrates the lift below 200Hz and keeps it from bleeding up into the vocals, so the bass stays huge while singers and instruments stay clean and clear. Most bass-heavy earphones turn muddy. These don't.

The other thing you'll notice is that the bass is controlled, not sloppy. Kick drums hit and stop. Bass lines have texture, not just weight. It's a big sound built with care, not a loud one built carelessly.

Why we stock them

Because nobody does sub-bass this well.
