Our take
AFUL built its name on neutral, reference-style tuning. The Explorer deliberately goes the other way.
It loves older recordings. Soul, jazz, anything mastered before everything got loud. The semi-custom acrylic shells run medium-small and stay comfortable enough to sleep on your side in. Isolation is strong for a vented set, so the low end still lands clean on a noisy train.
Build: Light 3D-printed resin with a glittery blue faceplate.
Comfort: About 4.4 g and small — comfortable for hours.
