Sub-bass focused. The Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ is the standard Mega5EST with about 5 dB added down low, in the rumble you feel, while the mid-bass punch stays natural so the mids don't get thick. It was built for hip hop, electronic and modern pop, where the low end is meant to carry the song. It needs a good seal to deliver that.

How do vocals sound on the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+?

Natural, same as the standard Hisenior Mega5EST. The extra sub-bass on the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ sits low enough that it doesn't climb into the voice, so singers keep their clarity and their place in the mix. On very bass-heavy tracks the low end takes more of your attention. If vocals come first for you, pick the standard Mega5EST.

Is the treble on the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ smooth, sparkly or sharp?

Smooth, and unchanged from the standard model. Two electrostatic tweeters (the tiny fast drivers that give the top end its air) handle the highs on the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+, and the top end stays exactly where it was. The set gets bigger without getting brighter. Heavy sub-bass with smooth treble is a rare mix.

Is the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ fatiguing over long sessions?

No. The Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ keeps the smooth treble and the comfortable ergonomic shell of the standard Mega5EST, so nothing sharp builds up over a long session. The added sub-bass is the only variable. If you find heavy bass tiring after a couple of hours, take the standard version, and if bass is what keeps you listening, this one is easy to live with.

Is the soundstage of the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ intimate or wide?

Natural, a step closer than the standard Hisenior Mega5EST. It's the same physical earphone, but on the Hisenior Mega5EST Bass+ the extra sub-bass fills in some of the space, so the presentation feels fuller and a little less wide. Pick the Bass+ for the low end, and pick the standard Mega5EST if stage width and detail matter more to you.
