A MEMS tweeter is a silicon chip that moves air directly, with no coil and no film. It is fast, and here it is the whole story: the top end is bright, airy, and extended further than anything else we stock near this price.
Be clear about the tradeoff before you buy. This is a lean, energetic set, not a warm one. Bass is tight rather than physical, and if bright treble tires your ears, pick something else.
