Listen before buying
The Supernova sounds like a real room. Voices arrive with weight and air around them, guitars and strings hold their body without turning thick, and the treble extends smoothly with nothing sharp enough to make you reach for the volume. Bass is fast and tight rather than physical — it starts and stops exactly when the recording does. Two hours in, you're still listening.
It has spent three years as one of the most quietly respected IEMs in the hobby, and almost nobody in Europe has heard one. That's not scarcity marketing. Stephen Syn's team in Indonesia builds these by hand, one pair at a time, and hand-built means slow. Every faceplate is real abalone, cut and finished individually, so no two units match — yours will not look exactly like the photos.
If you want slam in your chest, this isn't your set and we'll point you somewhere else. If you want a set you can listen through instead of listen to, this is one of the very few that earns the word reference.
Build: Full resin shells, spring-loaded 2-pin sockets, Estron Litz wiring, Oyaide silver solder — the expensive choices are the ones you can't see.
Comfort: Thicker shells than most, but the part that touches your ear is smaller than the size suggests, and it disappears after ten minutes.
The specs:

Every line is a tuning decision, not a score.
