The 7th Acoustics Supernova sounds like a real room, with voices that have air around them, bass with a clean, satisfying punch, notes that ring out long and full, smooth treble and a huge stage, and it's built by hand in Indonesia, one pair at a time, with real abalone faceplates. The bass punches rather than rumbles, so if you want deep sub-bass you feel in your chest this isn't your set, but for acoustic records or a whole album late at night, it's one you listen through rather than to.

The 7th Acoustics Supernova uses two vented Sonion balanced armatures for the low end, which reach deep while staying fast and tight instead of physical. Bass starts and stops exactly when the recording does. If you want slam in your chest, this isn't your set.
