Every soft tip narrows slightly under pressure once it's in your ear. Mithryl doesn't, because the sound channel runs through a stainless steel tube instead of silicone. The treble stays open and precise, and bass sounds tighter rather than bigger.
Two limits. The steel core means a strict 4.5–6 mm nozzle range — it will not stretch, and forcing it risks both tip and nozzle.
